Abu (Even)
Avraham and Rachel, cousins from the Abu family, were born in Morroco in the town of Midelt. Avraham worked as a truck driver in the family business. They had two boys and two girls. Avraham passed away shortly before immigrating to Israel. The family: Rachel, Avraham’s parents and Avraham’s children: Yitzhak, Eli and Simi (RIP) arrived in Israel in 1956 and settled in Wadi Salib. The eldest daughter Mesodi arrived a year later and settled in Musrara. The whole family followed her to live in 8 Ha'ain Het st.

Eli Even (Abu). Born in Morocco in 1948. Arrived in Israel with his family in 1956. Grew up in Musrara until the 1970s. He studied in Bezalel academy of art and design, and since then works as a graphic designer.
