Maimon

Joseph and Julie Maimon were born in the city of Gabès in Tunisia. They immigrated to Israel in 1956, along with their five children: Denis (Dalia), Collette (Tamar), Giselle (Orly), Felix (Moshe) and Merry (Miriam). In Israel Judith and Eli were born.

The Father worked in Tunisia as a tailor and owned a shop, he continued to work as a tailor in Israel in a limited scale.

The family was brought to the southern city of Sderot, left after a week, and moved independently to Musrara.
