Georgette Illouze Banoun

Mecodi Cohen and Judah Ben Nun immigrated to Israel from Fez in Morocco in 1949 with their seven children: Simon (Simon), Marcelle, Georgette, Fanny RIP, Simi RIP, Joseph and Shulamit. At first they lived in Brandes encampment and then moved to Givat Shaul. In 1950 they bought a house in Musrara.
 
Judah worked as a driver at the Postal Authority and Mecodi was a housewife.
